The Inside Loop:
- The West Michigan Trail Running group runs here on Tuesday at 6:30pm during the spring, summer, and fall; food and drinks are made available afterwards by the CSA staff.
- You’ll want to avoid Thursday evenings during the summer when Picnic Pops concerts take place.
- Connect this trail via Egypt Valley Ave entrance and 5 mile Rd to the Cannonsburg State Game Area for more mileage.
- Try running the ski hill for your most intense hill repeat workouts!
Main Entrance Full Loop (10.0 miles, ~1,000ft elevation gain)
This loop begins from the Cannonsburg Ski Lodge just through the main entrance and over the bridge. You will head left (east) towards the tree line and you’ll find the trail head marked with a sign where you will stay left and head “up the gut”. From there you’ll have a number of options for adding loops or keeping it simple, follow the maps or download one of the guided runs below. Main Entrance Full Loop Excluding Back Loop (7.2 miles, ~758ft elevation gain)
This loop begins from the Cannonsburg Ski Lodge just through the main entrance and over the bridge. You will head left (east) towards the tree line and you’ll find the trail head marked with a sign where you will stay left and head “up the gut”. This route is identical to the Full Loop but excludes the back loop which adds about 2.8 miles. See the other jaker.run sections for various options to remove sections to vary the distance and elevation.

Egypt Valley Entrance Full Loop Excluding Bills Hill (10.0 miles, ~1,030ft elevation gain)
This loop begins from the Cannonsburg State Game Area Egypt Valley Ave parking lot. You will head right (south) on the left side of the road you will find the trail head that juts in and turns back to the north. About two tenths of a mile in you’ll take the first left to enter the back loop coming out of that loop about 2 miles later you’ll go left and head towards the main section of the trail.
